OJSC "Andijankabel" JV was set up on the basis of the largest in the CIS cable factory "Andijankabel" in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian company OJSC "Farial". Manufacture of cables and wires is located in industrial city of Hanabad in Andizhan area on the area of 35 hectares. The factory is one of the newest and modern.

Building OJSC "Andijankabel" JV started in February, 1982. The 1st turn started production of copper, brass and nickel wires in 1985. The same year shops on manufacture of hookup wires and woven wire nets started working.

2000 year was marked for the factory by arrival of the large foreign investor in the name of the Russian company of OJSC "Farial" (Samara). It got a factory control stock and by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan OJSC "Andijankabel" JV transformed into «the enterprise with foreign investments».

Cable manufacturing in the joint venture is conducted using modern equipment manufactures Nokia (Finland), SKET Verseilmaschinenbau GmbH (Germany), UDAW (Germany), Nextrom (Finland), Maillefer SA (Switzerland) and Wiedenbach Apparatebau GmbH (Germany). The Russian investments allowed getting the new modern equipment, to modernize and start existing capacities.

The newest measuring equipment was installed for quality assurance of products at the factory. A technological process of manufacturing is based on last achievements of cable branch. Under the guidance of the qualified experts production of high-quality cable and wire products is adjusted.

Policy of the strengthened quality assurance, high level of the requirements shown to technological process at all stages of manufacture, allow to raise quality of output products on level of the world standards.
