The factory was set up in 1941 on the basis of factory of electrovacuum devices of Fryazino, Moscow area. The basic sphere of activity of «Foton» OJSC: development and manufacture of products of electronic technique for radio-electronic equipment, and manufacture of various products on the basis of radio electronics.
Open Society "Algorithm"was set up in 1982-1987. It’s a member the Uzbek Association of the enterprises of the radio-electronic, electrotechnical industry and instrumentation plants «Uzeltechsanoat» and one of the largest enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
JSC "ONIKS" modern, dynamically developing enterprise providing manufacture of a wide range of products from crystal, closely cooperating with consumers, suppliers, expanding commodity markets. Due to this, the enterprise is known not only in Uzbekistan, but also in Kazakhstan, Russia and other countries of the CIS and the Central Asia.

SC SIC "KVARK" is developed and mastered in a batch production more than 500 types of voltage limiters of various on absorbed capacity of energy of impulses and design performance.
State enterprise SCB “FOTON” was found in 1964, as the enterprise developing semi-conductor devices (diodes, transistors), and in a consequence integrated microcircuits. Practically all semi-conductor devices developed by the enterprise and integrated microcircuits were mastered and serially issued, and part of them is serially manufactured in present.
Joint venture "UMT-RADIO" was created by the Decision of the Cabinet of Republic of Uzbekistan № 237 dated 12.05.1999 on the basis of the Memorandum between the Government of Republic of Uzbekistan and the company «Моtоrоlа GmbH» (Germany).
Research-production association "ELXOLDING" is created in 1988, and specializes on production and deliveries of the training-labware, furniture and visual aids for studies of physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, visual aids in mathematics, plotting, native and to foreign languages, and also in other special subjects since 1997.
