About enterprise:

Joint venture "UMT-RADIO" was created by the Decision of the Cabinet of Republic of Uzbekistan № 237 dated 12.05.1999 on the basis of the Memorandum between the Government of Republic of Uzbekistan and the company «Моtоrоlа GmbH» (Germany).

The enterprise is intended to manufacture of highly technological means of a radio communication under the trade mark «Моtоrоlа».

In 1999 all necessary capacities were installed to release of radio stations. Technological process and the necessary documentation were developed for a full-scale production

Now practically all product nomenclature of the trade mark «Моtоrоlа» is produced, including portable, mobile and stationary radio stations C and G series, repeater GR500 and others. Today the joint venture releases more than 20 kinds of radio stations. Experts of the enterprise developed a new class of mobile aerials «Mirage V1» and «Compact–U2» with high operational properties. It is necessary to notice, that this own product is manufactured from localized accessories.

The enterprise products do not differ from products output at similar enterprises of the company «Motorola GmbH» in Europe on parameters and quality which proves received International certificate of quality ISO 9002.

 For 9 years of activity of the joint venture more than 30 000 means of a radio communication produced and sold.

Originally manufacture of means of a radio communication was focused on use by military and police of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It is necessary to notice, that joint venture "UMT-RADIO" products are of double purpose products and can be applied by both military and police, and in an economic complex for civil sector needs. In this connection, now production consumers are the enterprises of oil, gas, coal, mountain-extracting, an iron and steel, power, railway and motor transport industry.
