About enterprise:
The enterprise functions on the basis of the former general plant of Research-and-production association «Sredazelektroapparat», which is rich for historical traditions on electrotechnical production. 

Products under the trade mark of «Uzelektroapparat - electroshit», bear regular service in apartment houses and industrial works, on ships, submarines and planes, on petrol-and gas pipelines, trunk-railways, in agriculture and hydraulic engineering constructions, on thermal, hydrо and atomic power stations. 

The factory history originates since severe times of the Great Patriotic War when in autumn of 1941 factory "Electrostanok" was evacuated from Kharkov to Tashkent. Because of heroic efforts of plant workers already in the beginning of 1942 factory products were successfully started being sent to battlefront. 

In 1946 according the order of the Council of Ministers of the USSR two factories – "Electrostanok" and « High frequency currents » were united. The incorporation was named by "Tashkent electrotechnical factory» (ТEF) of the Ministry of the Electrical Equipment Industry of the USSR. 

In 1988 "Tashkent electrotechnical factory» was transformed to Research-and-production association «Sredazelektroapparat» and became parent enterprise. 

In 2000 two joint ventures with foreign investments: JV "Таshelektroapparat" and "Uzelektroapparat" JV OJSC were formed on basis of the “Tashkent electrotechnical factory».

In 2006 JV "Таshelektroapparat" and "Uzelektroapparat" JV OJSC affiliated into Clozed Joint-Stock Company «Group of companies Electroshit "- ТМ Samara» under the name of "Uzelektroapparat" – Electroshit» JV OJSC. 

Now more than 700 persons work for the enterprise. High qualification and experience of experts promotes manufacture of high-quality products undertime. The enterprise has possibility not only to make the electrotechnical equipment ordered by anyone, but also offers the services in designing of an electrotechnical part of projects, starting-up and tooling of equipment. 

Modern metal-cutting machine tools «FINN POWER» (Finland), processing complex «HAAS» (USA), lines on powder coloring «Tristan» (Russian Federation) and «TAISS» (Italy), a galvanic line on drawing of coverings on the basis of zinc «GALVOUR» (Sweden) are installed at the enterprise. 

Subject of activity of the enterprise - "Uzelektroapparat" – Electroshit» JV OJSC is production of wide scale of electrotechnical products:
middle and high-voltage complete devices 6 (10), 35, 110 kW power; 
The high-voltage equipment for open-cast mines; 
Devices for cathode protection of pipelines; 
Complete transformer substations with capacity from 25 to 2500 kWa;
Low-voltage complete devices; 
Condenser installations; 
Low-voltage equipment and electro-assembling products; 
Wide scale of the consumer goods; 
And also galvanization services.
