About enterprise:

The plant "Kinap" is based on the basis of evacuated Leningrad plant "Kinap", the Kiev plant of “FAZ” - 6" and Odessa plant "Kinap" during the second world war in 1942. With 1942 for 1945 The plant let out cases for manual antitank a pomegranate from 1942 to 1945.

Since 1946 plant "Kinap" specialized on production for cinemas and theatres. Its basic kinds were sound-reproducing intensifying, power rectifiers the equipment for a feed of arches of projectors, switching devices for protection of electric circuits of cinemas and theatres.

Originally a basis of the electronic systems made by vacuum lamps produced by the enterprise, but since 1967 semi-conductor devices began to be used basically.

Since 1979 the enterprise has mastered production of complexes for management of light for television centers, and also complexes of the sound-reproducing intensifying equipment for the big theatres and halls. Production of the enterprise equipped television center Ostankino, the Kremlin palace of congresses, MAAT in city of Moscow, and also the Palace of arts in Tashkent.

In 1980 was begun the second reconstruction of a plant directed on increase of volumes of production of products of special engineering.

The plant "Kinap" developed and introduced into manufacture wide assortment of consumer goods and other kinds of production during adaptation to new market conditions. In 1992 the enterprise masters manufacture of the collector electric motor on the basis of which some kinds of the electro mechanized tool were made, and also a wide spectrum of the radiogoods, the electropower and electronic equipment, the equipment for educational institutions, an agriculture and power engineering.

In 1994 plant "Kinap" and Design office of instrument making were incorporated into production association "Kinap".

In 2000 the financial condition of the enterprise was improved in connection with reception of the big orders for delivery of the labware for educational institutions. In this connection the decision was accepted to concentrate big efforts in the market of the educational equipment, including export markets.

In present JSC " Kinap " has wide nomenclature of an offered civilian production including consumer goods, tools, and certainly, the educational equipment.
