Uzbek –Singapore business forum light hopes

The Uzbek delegation of business circles including representatives of the ministries and agencies of the real sector of the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan paid on the official visit to the Republic of Singapore in July 3, 2009, with the purpose of participating in the work of the Uzbek-Singapore business forum.

Within the framework of the business forum, which consisted from two parts: presentation of the investment climate of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the cooperation exchange with the participation of Uzbek and Singapore representatives of business circles, were presented information materials about investment opportunities, created for foreign investors for the realization of activity within the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Following the results if the held negotiations were signed number of agreements between Uzbek and Singapore representatives of the business societies. Among those signed documents, draws huge importance the Memorandum of Understanding, signed between Association “Uzeltechsanoat” and Singapore company “BBS Access Pte.,Ltd” concerning creation of joint activity in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on manufacture of electrotechnical equipment.

The parties agreed to held further efforts for the realization of the project on the working level.
