«Uzcable» JSC JV 67 years – for the country benefit

On November, 27th, 2008 the largest manufacturer of the Uzbek electrotechnical branch – the Tashkent cable factory «Uzcable» is 67 years old.

«Uzcable» JSC JV - has passed a glorious way of formation and development together with formation of the electrotechnical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan and made an outstanding contribution to the development of domestic cable-wire production. One can be proud for the richest history and labor glory of the enterprise.

Winding up - so it is figuratively one can imagine years of activity of the largest universal cable producing enterprise «Uzcable» JSC JV, its glorious way from manufacturing of elementary electrotechnical products to the most complicated hi-tech designs of cables and wires.

October 1941 is a birthday of a new industry of the Uzbek republic. 67 years ago the first echelons of equipment of factory "Electrocable" came to Tashkent from front-line Kolchugino city, Vladimir region, and on its base manufacture of wires for military - field communication was organized in the shortest terms, later all listed products of factory "Electrocable" were restored.

In post-war years new problems dictated by necessity of restoration of a national economy, requirements of a peace time stood before the Tashkent cable factory. The factory started output of new types of products. Cables for deep drilling of oil wells worked out and developed. horizontal insulating cars started producing the first power cables with solid copper sector section 35 and 50 sq. mm.

The following years first tons of copper rod 17 mm diameter produced, the rolling mill became operational, the first-ever unique line ANV - a semi-automatic line of the unit of continuous vulcanization, which was named "miracle of the cable industry” was mounted and started up in press works of TSHK shop. With start-up of АНВ a lead press, roughing and taping machines and other out-of-date equipment disappeared and their place was occupied by cars for manufacturing heavy hose cables for rodless petropumps, peat cars, welding equipments, and powerful dredges. For the first time in the world «Tashkentcable» introduced copper rod with the refined surface in 5 ton revolts on the line NLP.

During the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan the best traditions of the enterprise are been increased and found the further development. These years the enterprise made a maximum possibility to keep the extensive nomenclature of cable products, to introduce new kinds of products, to master the new technics in the market economy. Within this time modern rolling mill of firm "Sautvayer", the high-efficiency wire drawing equipment started operation, tens kinds of new products were mastered, the new clearing system installed, many environmental problems were solved.

It is impossible to count up and furthermore to list all organizations and the enterprises of various branches of a national economy of the Republic where products of the enterprise are use successfully.

The main wealth of the enterprise is its employees, certainly. The collective of the «Uzcable» JSC JV has right to be proud of the big group of employees who has already worked at the factory over 40 years and brought the worthy contribution to development of the native factory. Surnames of more than 50 labor dynasties are brought in historical annals of the factory, some of them work here up to these days! Today new dynasties are born, labor traditions are passed from fathers to children, from children to grandsons.

Thanks all employees of the plant for their work, would like to wish them huge human luck, health and well-being and, certainly, new labor achievements for the good of a native city and the country.
