UZBEKISTAN-MALAYSIA: NEW BRIDGES COOPERATION

July 15, 2010 a meeting with a delegation of business circles of Malaysia was conducted in the Association “Uzeltehsanoat”. The delegation includes the heads of Malaysian companies operating in different spheres of the economy. During the meeting Uzbek party has provided information on activities of the Association "Uzeltehsanoat" and its member-companies, investment climate and business opportunities existing in Uzbekistan. Malaysian entrepreneurs shared an information about activities of their companies, plans for business development in Uzbekistan and the Central Asia.

Both sides exchanged opinions on the opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation between the Uzbek and Malaysian companies in Uzbekistan in electro-technical sector, in particular, to organize the production of electro-technical products in the republic, including in FIEZ "Navoi".

Following consultations, the parties agreed to continue exchange of views on the working level.
