Communications and Information Agency of Uzbekistan is the Coordinating Administration Body, authorized to problem solution and carrying out the state policy in sphere of communication, information and using the radio-frequency spectrum.

“Uzpakhtasanoat”Association is formed on the basis of the State-Joint-Stock Association ”Uzdavpakhtasanoatsotish”. The Association includes 13 territorial joint-stock companies of “Pakhtasanoat”.
The national holding company "Uzbekneftegaz" is formed according to the Decree of the President of Republic Uzbekistan from December, 11th, 1998 number PD-2154 "On transformation of National corporation of petroleum and gas industry "Uzbekneftegaz" to the National holding company "Uzbekneftegaz" and the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Republic of Uzbekistan from 1998 number 523 "On organisation and activity of the National holding company "Uzbekneftegaz".
Shurtan GCC is built on the basis of low-sulfur Shurtan deposit which gives more than thirty percent of the gas extracted in Republic, in a northwest part of Guzar area, near to border with Nishan area (the Kashkadarya area), in an uninhabited deserted-steppe zone.
The State Joint-Stock Railway Company "O'zbekiston temir yo'llari" is formed on November 7th, 1994, on the basis of the former Central Asian railway which is located in territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
JSC "Almalyk MMC" is one of the largest mining-metallurgical enterprises in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Production capacities of the complex are based on reserves of group of copper-porphyry, lead-zinc and silver-gold deposits, which are located in areas of Tashkent, Jizzakh, Namangan regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
