Development prospects of the companies of "UZELTEHSANOAT" Association

JV OJSC "Andijankabel"

In 2007 JV OJSC "Andijankabel" started implementation of the following new projects:

Launching production of power cables with section up to 240 square mm. The contract for supply of the equipment was signed with the firm "Herman" (PRC).
Production lines of finished copper wire with diameter 1.3-3.5 mm and capacity 1200 tons per year. The contract for production and supply of the equipment from China was prepared;
Launching production of cables for structured cable networks (LAN-cables) with capacity of 3100 km per year.

In 2007 the company directed for its development 1.6 billion sums on its own account. During three years the volume of investment for development of the company is predicted about 10.38 billion sums. Totally 12 projects will be realized on these funds.

JV OJSC "Uzkabel"

During the next few years 2.8 million USD of direct foreign investments and 2.5 billion sums on its own account will be directed for implementation of perspective projects in the company. The largest projects are:

Organization of enamel wires production;
Production line of a cardboard and packing from it four color print;
Organization of consumer goods production (lengthener, setting wires, electrical household appliances, plastic products etc.).

JV OJSC "Deutsche Kabel AG Tashkent"

The company plans to direct 14098 million sums on its own account and 950 million sums direct foreign investments for realization of new perspective projects till 2012.

During the next few years implementation of the following 10 large investment projects is expected at the company:

Purchase and installation of the line for chalcosis of a steel wire;
Organization of manufacture of household radio-frequency cables with copper-plated steel core and on the basis of cellular polythene (such as RG-6);
New line of electro supply of the 1st territory on 5000 kilowatts;
Line of cold rolling steel armature of measured length with diameter 12-14 mm;
Production line of copper wires and rod with diameter 17 mm and the rolling mill for broaching copper rod and copper wires till the necessary size;
Line of hot zinc coating of a steel wire;
Purchase of the new equipment for production of a steel wire;
Line of annealing and tinning a copper wire;
Reconstruction of technological sites of the post control;
Expansion of the nomenclature on the basis of existing production.

OJSC "Sino"

The project was worked out on development of production of whole scale of household electrical appliances, including new models of refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioners, shop boards and shop windows, cooling chambers, washing machines, microwave ovens, dishwashers, cleaners of air for kitchen, etc. For realization of the project the agreement on cooperation was achieved with the largest producer of household electrical appliances in China – the company "Haier".

JV OJSC "Chirchik Transformer Plant"

The largest projects are the following:

Organization of manufacture of complete block transformer substations of the class of voltage up to 220 kilowatts inclusive;
Organization of manufacture of complete switching centers of internal and external installation for networks 6-10 kilowatts with microprocessor relay protection;
Organization of manufacture of complete transformer substations of city type in block and modular design of the class of voltage 6-10 kilowatts;
Increase of capacity of manufacturing power transformers of the class of voltage 110 kilowatts;
Organization of manufacture of power transformers of the class of voltage 220 kilowatts.

For implementation of 5 perspective investment projects is planned to direct 5.2 billion sums including 3.1 billion sums of direct foreign investments, including necessary increase of turnaround means.

JV OJSC "Uzelectroapparat-Electroshield"

A new stage of technical modernization began in 2007. The total sum of means for purchase of the equipment will exceed 4.5 million USD. The largest projects on development of new products are the following:

Organization of production of grounding electrodes of ЗР-10 type on voltage 6-10 kilowatts;
Organization of production of block modular substations on voltage 35-110kilowatts;
Organization of production of disconnectors such as RDZ on 35 kilowatts;
Expansion of the nomenclature and volumes of consumer goods production.

For modernization of production and development of new kinds of production will be directed 7 billion sums of investments, including foreign investments will make 6.1 billion sums.

OJSC "Samarkand Elevator Plant"

For development of the plant in near future is planned to direct 4.0 million USD of direct foreign investments. For 5 years this sum will make 7.0 million USD or 8750 million sums.

Implementation of the following projects is planned:

Modernization of the passenger elevator for 400 kg;
Development of manufacture of new generation passenger elevator for 630 kg;
Organization of production of winches for 400 kg elevators;
Organization of production winches for 630 kg elevators;
Organization of home appliances production.

OJSC "Foton"

At the company were developed the following projects:

Organization of production of solar photo-electric stations with the advanced localization of components production;
Modernization of semi-conductor production with the purpose of maintenance and expansion of export deliveries;
Expansion of the nomenclature and volumes of household radio electronics production.

Financing these projects is supposed to be carried out at the expense of investment obligations of a foreign partner after purchasing the state shares (76 %) of the company.

OJSC "Oniks"

The main perspective investment project at the company is modernization of crystal production. The second project which is planned for realization is organization of manufacture of products from fiber glass at the JV "Uzglaszayden" which is located in the territory of OJSC "Oniks". Advanced reprocessing of fiber glass will raise production efficiency both at JV "Uzglaszayden" and OJSC "Oniks". For realization of this project there were reserved production areas at the company.

OJSC "Algoritm"

On the basis of producing printed circuit boards at the enterprise will be launched production of household electrical appliances. The basic projects are the following:

Organization of production of printed circuit boards and electronic modules for home appliances;
Organization of production of multifunctional electronic counters of the electric power;
Organization of production of household electrical appliances.

OJSC "Kinap"

For development of the company will be directed 6.0 million USD in near future. For these investments at the company were developed the following investment projects:

Organization of production of teaching aids;
Manufacture of household electrical appliances;
Production of components for motorcycles.

ECB "Foton"

Main projects are the following:

Organization of watches production;
Organization of manufacture of glasses and lenses for them;
Development of manufacture of perspective types of diodes and integrated circuits.

According to studies realization of the mentioned projects at the enterprise will need 1.8 billion sums.

OJSC "Relay and Automatics"

In near future delivery of manufacturing equipment is planned by the import contract for the sum of 398,4 million sums for realization of the project "Organization of production of drop cables of steeply curved seamless welding from carbon steel".

OJSC "Uzelektroterm"

The company has its Modernization Program according to which is required 885.15 thousand USD (1115 million sums) for realization of the project on modernization of manufacture of tubular electro heaters. Financing of the Program is expected at the expense of investment obligations of a foreign partner after purchasing the state shares of the company.
